The Wellcome Trust Conference Centre is one of the world’s leading scientific conference centres.

The new drum surrounding the auditorium is decorated with perforated metal panels of hand drawn phylogenetic trees based on genetic research undertaken on campus, and provides an original and dynamic location for exhibitions, poster sessions, networking events.
The building was a finalist in Blueprint Magazine’s annual Design Awards in the categories of Best Public-Use Building and Best Interior Project.
