The Living Systems Institute is a complex building of technically demanding laboratory and research spaces for biology, physics, mathematics and engineering.
The multidisciplinary research building includes Technology Hubs for photon lasers, specialist microscopy, plant growth and other specialisms to support the compact core laboratories and encourage interaction between wet bench and office-based researchers.
The project was awarded a RIBA (South) Design Award.
