Pears Building, Royal Free Hospital

The building will house UCL’s Institute of Immunity and Transplantation, a world-class research centre for some of the world’s most serious diseases.

Abell Nepp has provided laboratory planning services to Hopkins Architects for £42m building which combines three storeys of laboratories with patient hotel and charity offices.

The Pears Building is being constructed in the grounds of the Royal Free Hospital. Work began in March 2018 and will be completed in autumn 2020.
