MRC London Institute for Medical Sciences

Abell Nepp Architects have recently completed RIBA Stage 4 laboratory design services for the Medical Research Council's (MRC) and Imperial College London's £65m eight-storey research building located on their Hammersmith Campus.

The London Institute of Medical Science will support 300 researchers in epigenetics, quantitative biology, and genes and metabolism. Specialist areas include super-resolution and cryo-electron microscopy imaging facilities.

The main contractor, Walter Lilly, will begin construction in the Autumn and completing in the Spring of 2022.
